The pictures above were taken from the CNA pinning ceremony held at Dalton McMichael High School on June 1, 2016 for Ms. Donna Holder's nursing students. Each student pictured above received a pin and graduation cord indicating their completion of a career pathway in Health Science and the successful completion of the requirements necessary for obtaining Nursing Assistant certification. In order to obtain the credential these students had to successfully pass a series of Health Science courses. They were also required to obtain 40 clinical hours at a health care facility and pass the national certification exam. The credential that these students earned makes them immediately eligible for employment as a nurse's assistant. The certification also serves to fulfill one of the requirements for entry into the Nursing program at Rockingham Community College.
